Next Friday is the day for Global march to Jerusalem.
Organizers of GMJ are now expecting 2 millions strong marchers to infiltrate Israel’s borders on March 30, 2012. Delegates from countries as far away as India, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Indonesia are already inching their way to the borders.
Understandably, Iran seems quite excited about the March that the Islamic regime, according to DebkaFile, has not only recruited Islamists worldwide but also ordered leaders of Jewish communities in Iran to send their representatives to participate in the march with the Islamist groups in Lebanon, possibly to use them as human shields. The population of Iran’s ancient Jewish community is around 15,000, 9,000 in Tehran, 4,000 in Shiraz and 1,3000 in Isfahan.
Israel for the most part is concerned about the possibility of the repeat of last year’s deadly clashes during the Naksa and Nakba marches that it has issued a stern warning to Arab countries and Palestinians to refrain from approaching the border, according to Ynet News.
Meanwhile, a radio host Aaron Klein of WABC radio in New York has reportedly offered $50,000 to an organizer of the upcoming Global March to Jerusalem, if the activist could name one city in the Middle East outside of Israel that has more freedom than Jerusalem, Arutz Sheva 7 reported.
The stated purpose of the GMJ is to liberate Jerusalem from Israel’s occupation. A few years from now, similar Global March to Jerusalem will take place year after year, but for a completely different purpose:
Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. Zec 14:16
